Barrier 77 is an epoxy primer with 77% zinc powder content, suitable for corrosive environments. The high zinc dust content in Barrier 77 provides optimal corrosion protection when used as part of a complete coating system in areas where a highly durable coating system is required. The product is ideal for use as a primer in atmospheric environments. Suitable for carbon steel surfaces, repairing inorganic zinc silicate coatings and damaged galvanized steel substrates. Barrier 77 complies with ASTM D520 type II standard for zinc powder. Recommended for offshore environments, at refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, etc., on steel structures and pipelines exposed to corrosive environments up to C5 (ISO 12944-2) .
